Our VS 280 Exhibit & Finale!

Plan on Tuesday May 2 for our Class Exhibition and Open-House—6-9pm., as we discussed. Everyone to bring in a selection of your semester work. Your favorite pieces. And invite your friends. Tony brings refreshments. (Maybe some pot luck add-ins?) A good way to show people what we've been doing--and also to get new people interested for the F2017 class. (That's important for continuity at my end!)

Work. Chose several of your favorite pieces.

Walls. how we apportion walls—
24’ + 18’ + 20’ + 18’   roughly 80’ — giving everyone 8’ of wall space
you can use wall space full height—so think about how you layout your work with this in mind and as you do, recall each other’s works from over the semester—benjamin tended to work larger, rebecca worked consistently smaller…

Lights. jeff and lights - jeff will re-adjust lights between 5pm and 6pm

Refreshments (tony—wine and all) maybe some pot luck?

Invites. it’s important that you reach out to your friends on Facebook  or however you do this… Let them know about the show. Encourage some good people for next fall’s class!
I will have the department announce our show on there ced website
if you want to hang a few small and unusual (intriguing)  flyers, that’s always good too

Hanging the show. Plan on hanging your work between 5-6pm. Tony will arrive at 5, with cart, pins—
bring some back up pins just in case.

Do make a special effort have everything up before 6pm!!!! Then we have a toast, and welcome guests as they arrive…
